Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 6 – Multipurpose Room
I am sharing with you all my process for Spring cleaning and organizing my house. Today we tackled the multipurpose room, which means we have a big room in the basement that serves as the kids’ playroom, guest bedroom (when my family comes to visit us, from Brazil), and my home office (in the corner). If you don’t have a multipurpose room, you can use this time to organize one of these spaces in your home.

Since the day quarantine started, the playroom has been the kidsโ favorite space to spend time in. Needless to say that the toys were everywhere. Sorry if I disappoint you, but this is real life. We are all doing what we can to survive this unprecedented time. With that being said, we started the process today by clearing the floor and putting away all the toys that were on the floor and on the bed.
After that, we dusted the bookshelves and reorganized some of the toys and books. I made the bed and vacuumed the floor. My next step was to organize my home office. I went through some mail and tied up the desk.
The template guide with my step-by-step template is below. Feel free to follow it to successfully clean and organize your bonus room.ย
