Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 5 - Kitchen

An organized kitchen improves your health and lifestyle because it helps you keep an inventory of what you have in the fridge, freezer, and pantry. It saves you money because you will probably not overbuy products, let fruits and vegetables go to waste in the fridge and forget about the perishables in the back of the pantry.

Let’s get to work!

Start by figuring out which systems are not working for you. Remember, organizing systems are great when implemented correctly.  Start by cleaning and organizing your pantry or cabinets where you store most of your food. Get everything out, check expiration dates, group similar items, wipe the shelves and return items to place.

Next, you will do the same thing for every cabinet and drawer. Do a deep clean of the stove and oven. Don’t forget to clean the top of the cabinets and the light fixtures. Under the sink is another space many forget to clean and organize. Finalize the process by cleaning the fridge and mopping the floor.

Below I am sharing a step-by-step template you can follow to successfully clean and organize your kitchen. Play some music and have fun!
