Is your goal to get the home organized for the New Year? You can totally do that and we are here to support you! Check out 5 tips we have to help you stay on track!

5 easy steps to get organized!
Get the kids involved – I love working with busy families with kids. Even young kids can help keep the house organized. Use a chore chart to motivate them by offering a reward by the end of the week.
Meal Plan – I can’t emphasize enough how much money and time you will save by doing meal planning. You will always have healthy homemade meals without spending too much time in the kitchen.

Purge/donate – The first step in any organization process is to purge and declutter your house. keep a donation basket year around at a strategic place so it will remind you of doing so. If you haven’t used or don’t love an item, it is time to let it go.
Create routines – This is what keeps you on track until new activities become habits to you. I especially love to have a night routine where I pick up around the house, get things ready for an easy morning, etc.

Drop off zone – Create a drop off zone near to the door you use the most. Use a tray to collect all the items you bring home: mail, wallet, keys, etc. when it is time to leave the house again, you won’t need to go on an expedition looking for your keys.
